Stella Cavalli a Ph.D. student supervised by Prof. Rigoberto E. M. Morales, was awarded with “Best e-Poster” prize, at the 6th Multiphase Flow Journeys.
The work entitled “Experimental Analysis of Three-Phase Solid-Liquid-Gas Slug Flow with Hydrate-Like Particles” was developed at NUEM – Multiphase Flow Research Center at UTFPR in Brazil with collaboration with Phases to Flow Lab at Colorado School of Mines, USA. The work reported the influence of the introduction of particles, with properties similar to gas hydrates, on the multiphase flow structure, focusing on the slug flow pattern.
