Invitation to the Final of the SFGP Thesis Award – French Society of Chemical Engineering

Tomorrow, October 21, at 9h (BRT) / 14h (FR), our researcher Dr. Carlos L. Bassani will present his work at the Prize of Thesis SFGP – French Society of Chemical Engineering, which will choose the laureate of the best thesis defended in 2020 at the national level in France in the field of Chemical Engineering. The six finalists will give a short presentation of their work, and the audience will be able to vote. The ceremony will be held in French, but Dr. Bassani will do his talk in English, and all of you are invited to participate.

Thesis: A Multiscale Approach for Gas Hydrates considering Structure, Growth Kinetics, Agglomeration and Transportability under Multiphase Flow Conditions

Thesis done at NUEM – Multiphase Flow Research Center from PPGEM – Post Graduate Program of Mechanical and Materials Engineering of UTFPR, with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Rigoberto Morales, in the scope of the dual PhD degree agreement with the SPIN Centre for Chemical Engineering of École des Mines de Saint-Étienne with the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ana Cameirão and co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Jean-Michel HERRI, and with the scientific collaboration of the Phases to Flow Laboratory of the Colorado School of Mines, with co-supervision of Prof. Dr. Amadeu Sum.
